About Ted

Daintree rainforest canopy

The forest found her

Ted didn't plan to become a guide. She came to the Daintree looking for something — peace, purpose, maybe just quiet. What she found was a rainforest 130 million years old that had a way of putting everything into perspective.

She started walking the trails at night. Not as a job. Just because the jungle is different after dark — alive in ways most people never get to see. Friends came along. Then friends of friends. Eventually, the walks became something worth sharing properly.

Not your typical guide

Ted doesn't rush. She doesn't fill silence with noise. When she talks about the forest, it's because she knows it — the seasons, the sounds, the things that glow and why. She'll point out things you'd walk right past and make you feel like you're the first person to ever see them.

She carries mosquito spray so you don't have to worry about it. She knows which trails are best after rain and which ones to avoid. She's the kind of person who says things like "the universe provides" and actually means it.

The Daintree doesn't need a sales pitch. It just needs someone to open the door.

Come for a walk

The best way to understand is to experience it. Tuesday to Sunday, starting at dark.
